ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop will last two days (6 hours each), and we’ll take place in the L44 Gallery. All of the materials will be provided. Here’s what we’ll cover:
First, I’ll introduce you to the basics and nuances of the modern carpet-making technique, tufting. Each participant will receive a brief training and safety overview.
Design Session – We’ll discuss design, sketching, techniques, and trends, then review and talk through the day’s designs.
- Size – Your artwork should be 50x50cm
- Colors – There is a variety of wool that will be provided in different colors.
- Design –Please come with a chosen design if possible.
We’ll go through every step of rug-making: sketching, colour selection, tufting, gluing, and detailing.
Grooming won’t be your responsibility, as it requires over 2 hours per carpet and special equipment for health safety.
You’ll receive your completed product within 3 weeks, by courier or in-person delivery in Sofia.
PAYMENT
To enroll in the workshop, you must make the payment in advance. Please read and FILL THIS FORM to enroll in the workshop and make payment.
