ABOUT THE SHOW

We are NOT (Never On Time), an international female duo of Mira Georgieva (41 years old, Bulgaria) and Anastasiia Dehtiarova (31 years old, Ukraine), brought together by a shared love for performance art. Coming from the business background and childhoods spent on stage, we quickly discovered we have similar lived experiences in our home countries and abroad as entrepreneurs, women and performers.

In our show “Pretty Ugly,” we invite you on a journey through the unexplored territories of womanhood experienced across time and cultures. We weave together improv, playback theater, storytelling, and dance to break the silence around the ugly truths on topics we’re all thinking about but rarely discuss openly: career, motherhood, choosing to be child-free, aging, beauty, body image, and our evolving roles in society. Every show is improvised based on the audience’s input, and happens only once!

While our performance addresses women’s experiences, it does so with nuance and inclusivity rather than antagonism. We believe these conversations benefit everyone, regardless of gender. Our goal is to explore the taboo topics through art, humor, and honesty.
