In Like Boiling Ice, Austrian illustrator Francesco Ciccolella invites us to explore water as a metaphor for human resilience. Inspired by a journey to Iceland, Ciccolella’s latest series of prints captures water’s continuous transitions between solid, liquid, and gas, revealing its ability to adjust to the forces around it. This flexibility, Ciccolella suggests, mirrors our own capacity to adapt to change and adversity.

This exhibition is made possible with the support of the Austrian Embassy in Sofia.
