Join us for a hands-on mosaic workshop inspired by the beauty of ancient mosaics. A slow, hands-on afternoon to work with natural materials, try something new, and enjoy the process of making.
We’ll spend a few hours working with natural stone, learning the basics, and creating your own piece to take home.
My name is Nur, and I’ve been living in Sofia for the past two years, where I host creative workshops through Studio Punika.
I started with punch needle workshops, which I still continue, but over time my focus has shifted more towards mosaic; a practice I first discovered as a hobby before moving to Sofia.
I especially enjoy working with natural stone and ceramics, I really like the organic texture of stone, and how something you might not even notice in nature can become part of something beautiful when the pieces come together. I’m also very inspired by ancient mosaics and often recreate small details or motifs from larger works. For me, it’s mostly about enjoying the slow process, experimenting with materials, and making something by hand.
The workshop is beginner-friendly, so everyone could sign up!

All materials provided.
After the workshop every participant will take his artwork with them.
We do have a policy of no external food or drinks at L44 Space.
We offer a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and some snacks at the bar.
